Our style
Often described as ethereal, vibrant, enchanting and wild, our style focuses on texture and the space between. We aren’t afraid of color and provide a sense of uniqueness to each design.
So much can serve as inspiration for us. The coast, the way the clouds move, misty mornings, morning light, the shades of a sunset, expressions of emotion and movement. We feel lucky to get to explore beautiful spaces and to have the opportunity to slow down enough to notice the small details of the natural world and use that as inspiration for our work.
Intentional Design
We believe plants have power, not just for the pleasure of viewing but for the ability to heal us. Our first healer, the land, is always alive within us and here at Sun Canyon Florals, we believe that flowers provide support not only physically, but spiritually. Flowers to make you feel , to produce the power of stillness and observation. In our time of constant distraction and instant entertainment, a walk in the garden provides nourishment for our souls.
For someone who has been a part of the wedding industry for 10 years, Victoria has noticed the distance we, as a society, have created from Ceremony, which is really what a wedding is–a ceremony of two people coming together. We want to assist in making your day feel as you as it can be and welcome florals to ground you and your senses. We are looking for clients who value flowers, intentional design and creating a day that represents your love truly.
Sustainability Practices
We acknowledge the incredible waste that comes from the events industry, and also believe that our industry can make significant changes to better protect our planet. Aligning our personal values with our business values, we have committed to be a sustainable business. Why did we do it? We love the earth and it’s truly not that hard to make better choices for our future.
For us, that means focusing on foam free mechanics, reusing hard goods, sorting our waste properly and buying local flowers when seasonality allows. Thankfully in California, we have access to beautiful flowers the majority of the year, and here on the Central Coast, we also have access to American Grown Roses from Eufloria Flowers.
We also partner with Floracycle, a local nonprofit that focuses on repurposing flowers and delivering them to senior assisted living facilities. Victoria hopes to be a part of the floral community who challenges and changes how the environment is considered within the floral industry.
Where can you find Sun Canyon Florals?
Centrally located in SLO County, popular wedding destinations like Big Sur, Paso Robles and Santa Barbara are nearby and some of the most stunning locations for weddings or elopements.
Sun Canyon Florals also has the special opportunity to have a second home base location in Vacaville, CA which gives us the availability to travel to Napa, the Bay Area and even Lake Tahoe at a very low travel cost. Bay Area weddings are welcomed as Victoria loves the opportunity to visit with family but it is dependent on personal capacity and scheduling limits.
Destination weddings are also welcomed, we will quite literally travel anywhere for flowers!

First, fill out the contact form here to check availability. If our availability aligns, the first step is a free phone consultation to get to know each other. If we each feel like a good fit to move forward, we'll create a custom estimate based on what items we discussed and eventually create a personalized design proposal. Next, you’ll sign a contract and pay your deposit to secure your date.
Site visits, coffee dates and mock ups (additional fee) are also available. Wedding day comes, we make your event extra beautiful and hopefully stay connected to share our love our flowers.
